3:09 – Shift length for Dmitry Orlov during last night’s overtime session in Philadelphia, which checks in as the fourth-longest overtime shift of the season. Trio-mates Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom were right behind him with the fifth-longest, a stout 3:08 of being stuck in their own zone.
Ovechkin is the current League leader in that department, with an OT shift earlier this season clocking in at an insane 3:39, while John Carlson also makes the list in a tie for second-longest at 3:15.
