7 - Number of Capitals with at least five goals on the season so far (and therefore being roughly on pace to hit 20 goals by the end of the year), tied with Nashville for the most in the League. Both the Caps and Preds are close to making it eight, as well, with Nicklas Backstrom and Kyle Turris sitting at four goals apiece.

Unsurprisingly, Alex Ovechkin leads the way with 13 (three back of David Pastrnak for the overall lead). He’s followed by Jakub Vrana and T.J. Oshie with nine; Evgeny Kuznetsov, Tom Wilson and John Carlson with eight; and Lars Eller with five.

The Caps do boast the highest number of players at eight goals or more with six, which leads the NHL by a healthy margin - no other team has more than three.
