.708 - The Capitals points percentage against Metropolitan Division opponents so far this season, posting a record of 8-3-1 through 12 games. They’ve outscored their division rivals 41-34 over that span, and have at least three goals in seven of the 12 games overall (with all seven of those games going in the win column).

Tonight marks their first outing against the Flyers, the only Metro rival against whom the Caps have yet to play this season. Over the last four seasons, the Caps are 7-4-5 against their pals from the City of Brotherly Love, but have lost three of their last four games overall.

They’ll look to improve on that record when they host the Flyers tonight at Capital One Arena.
