The second period had something for EVERYONE, if what EVERYONE likes is rookie fights and Bruins goals!
But the second period did see both Connor Hobbs and Liam O’Brien drop the gloves, presumably trying to.....prove their toughness.....or something.
That didn’t stop Boston from scoring twice. The first occurred just seconds after Washington’s Ilya Samsonov made his debut in net, as Zach Senyshyn stuffed his own rebound home to make it 3-1.
And then, with just seconds remaining, Senyshyn scored again - that rogue - to make it 4-1 Bruins after two periods.
