.926 - Capitals’ regular-season points percentage in games in which Jay Beagle scored a goal, via a 41-1-5 record. (Because you’re curious, that one regulation loss came against the Rangers in 2016.)
The playoffs version of that stat is a 5-3 record, with two losses coming in overtime and this game-winning tally providing the margin in one of Washington’s 16 wins this past spring:

In case you missed it, Beagle signed a four-year/$12-million contract with Vancouver over the weekend (a great deal for the player... not so much for his new team). He’ll be missed here in D.C., but never, ever forgotten.
Jay Beagle has never been drafted at any level of hockey. He arrived in Boise, Idaho on an ECHL tryout contract and without an agent in 2007. With his new contract, he will pass $20 million in career NHL earnings. https://t.co/xsR9AMRsjf
