NHL Draft 2018: Washington Capitals Select Martin Fehervary

The Caps’ first pick in the second round is another blueliner

With the 46th pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, the Caps have selected defenseman Martin Fehervary.

From Draftin Europe 2018:

Plays his opposition hard, quickly closes in on the puck carrier.. doesn’t mind using his body.. actively works to break up plays.

From Future Considerations:

Fehervary is rather big in size but is a powerful skater. He is using his mobility and pivoting nicely, making him a smooth-skating defenseman. He possesses a powerful pass, but will need to work on his passing accuracy a bit as his passes were not always on the teammates’ blades but rather in the skates.
