In 328 games behind the Caps’ bench, Trotz racked up an impressive record of 205-89-34 en route to two Presidents’ Trophies and three consecutive Metropolitan Division titles.
He also remains the only coach in team history to have a postseason record above .500, finishing with a playoff record of 36-27 in a franchise-high 63 games… and of course, the only coach to lead a Capitals team to a Stanley Cup.
