4 – Number of times in which the lead changed hands during last night’s game, with the Caps going from down 1-0 to up 2-1, Vegas answering back to go up 3-2, the Caps coming back to lead 4-3 and the Knights tying it up and scoring the eventual game-winner.
Per the NHL, that was just the third game in NHL postseason history – and the first in the Stanley Cup Final – to feature four lead changes. The last time it happened was Game 2 of the 1992 Division Semifinals between Edmonton and the Kings; the first, Game 2 of the 1936 Quarterfinals between the New York Americans (!) and Chicago.
