First of all, we apologize for the lack of an April pledge drive; sometimes life gets in the way and some things get put on the back burner.
…that said, a month off should mean that everyone’s got plenty of spare change lying around that can go towards a good cause, right?
But before we get to that, let’s do a little housekeeping from way back in March – thanks to a pretty strong month overall for the good guys, we’ve got just over $1000 going to the Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation, which is just awesome. You continue to do us all proud by chipping in, and every little bit counts, so thank you to those who pledged!

Whatever the next two months hold for the Caps, they are the reason we’re all here – so this final round of pledges will go towards the official charity of the Washington Capitals and their Monumental partners, the MSE Foundation.

This time around we’re doing something a little different – pledges can be made about the Caps or any other playoff team through the end of the postseason, regardless of when it comes to an end for our boys. Want to pledge money for every game played by the “expansion” Golden Knights? Hoping to see Steven Stamkos light up the Bruins? Think an extra boost can get the Caps out of the second round? It’s completely up to you what accomplishments (or anti-accomplishments) you choose to pledge for!
In short, starting with the second round and going straight on through to the Cup Final, any and all pledges are accepted. Let’s try and get that total way up to finish out the 2017-18 campaign!
