This has been helped in large part by the Caps’ ability to jump out to some quick starts. In Game 1, Evgeny Kuznetsov put the Caps on top just 17 seconds in, and three nights later it was Alex Ovechkin giving the Caps the early lead about 90 seconds into the game.
