4 - Number of playoff games needed for Alex Ovechkin to move into the franchise’s top spot in games played, a mark he will almost surely hit this spring. Ovechkin currently sits at 97 playoff games, three behind Dale Hunter and Kelly Miller.

Nicklas Backstrom will likely slide into second behind Ovechkin when #8 moves into that top spot, as he currently sits one shy of Ovechkin’s total at 96 games played (no thanks to the one-game suspension he earned back in 2012 against the Bruins).

The duo hold a 20-game lead on any other active Cap; John Carlson sits at a distant third with 76 postseason games as a Cap, with Jay Beagle (62) and Tom Wilson (41) rounding out the top five.
