A look at how the world’s best goal scorer has performed in “the world’s most famous arena”.

17 - Number of goals scored by Alex Ovechkin at Madison Square Garden since his rookie season, the most by anyone over that span. Ovechkin has appeared in 26 regular-season games in the home of the Rangers and has posted a line of 17-8-25 in those games, trailing on Sidney Crosby for the most points at MSG (albeit in six fewer games).

He’s also the top scorer overall when it comes to playoff points in NYC; Ovechkin has scored seven goals and 12 points in 16 playoff appearances at MSG.
