The Capitals travelled to Canada to face the Canadiens where they stole two points in regulation, officially eliminating Montreal from playoff contention.

Plus: Tom Wilson tallied two goals for the first time since February 15th against the Minnesota Wild. Evgeny Kuznetsov also tallied twice in his return from injury.

Minus: Despite capturing the win Philipp Grubauer struggled against Montreal’s offense, turning aside 17 of 21 shots for a .810 SV%.
