.939 - Philipp Grubauer’s save percentage since October 27, best in the NHL among goalies with at least five appearances over that span. (As a point of reference, Braden Holtby ranks 54th of 74 qualifying ‘tenders at .906.) Grubauer has also posted a League-best 1.83 goals against average (Holtby is 57th at 3.06) over this stretch, while going 10-6-2 in 18 starts and six relief appearances totaling 1,245 minutes.

In fact, Grubauer has the League’s best save percentage (.924) and GAA (2.22) since the start of the 2013-14 season (minimum 30 games played)... but has a losing record (38-28-11) to show for it (while Holtby’s 183 wins are tops on the circuit).

Grubauer has started three-straight games for the Caps for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
