The Columbus Blue Jackets hosted Washington in the first half of a home-and-home with the Capitals. In a crowded Metropolitan Division playoff race these two contests have been highlighted by both teams. But in Ohio it was Washington collecting both points in sixty minutes with a 3 to 2 victory.

Here’s Tuesday night’s Plus/Minus:

Plus: Tom Wilson had an excellent game, finishing a single assist shy of the Gordie Howe hat trick.

Minus: Once again Washington allowed the game’s first goal early. The Blue Jackets scored first only 118 seconds into the contest.

Nine more notes on the game.
