That’s far fewer games than any one of the other four defensemen currently on the team’s roster; Dmitry Orlov is the “closest” with 343 games played, followed by John Carlson at 586, Matt Niskanen at 779 and Brooks Orpik sitting at 961.
None of the four “youngsters” has played the equivalent of a full NHL season yet, although Kempny’s next game will be #82. Djoos and Bowey have each racked up 51 games, while Jerabek is the least experienced of the crew with just 25 NHL games under his belt.
