NHL: Washington Capitals at Minnesota Wild Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

24 - Even-strength points scored by Tom Wilson so far this season, his three-point effort last night bringing him into a tie for fourth-most on the team behind only Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom and Evgeny Kuznetsov.

Having already established new career highs in assists and points, Wilson added goals to that group with his eighth - and ninth - goal of the season last night, with 25 games remaining. He’s currently scoring at a rate of .49 points per game, also a highwater mark for his career, and now has three games with at least three points and three two-goal games on his resume.

Wilson also continued his success against Western Conference teams in general, his three-point outing against Minnesota bringing his total points against the West up to 43 (15-28-43) in 128 games, compared to 52 points in 238 games against the East.
