86 - Number of points earned by Capitals blueliners so far this season, tied with the Blue Jackets for fourth-most in the League. Caps’ defensemen have combined for 16 goals and 70 assists, and have scored and/or assisted on 76 of the team’s 126 total goals.

Leading the way, of course, is John Carlson, who is currently tied with Mark Giordano and Brent Burns for the third-highest point total among defensemen (35) and who ranks second among blueliners in assists with 30.
