A pair of power play goals from Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen gave the Hurricanes a 4-1 lead less than halfway through the second period, but Tom Wilson, Alex Ovechkin (again), and Travis Boyd all netted goals to bring the score to an even 4-4.
