A look at a lack of firepower from two of the team’s top forwards

1 - Combined number of even-strength goals for Nicklas Backstrom and Evgeny Kuznetsov this season, with the lone tally picked up by Backstrom in the loss to Dallas last weekend. To put that into perspective, that’s the same even-strength goal total for Chandler Stephenson, and for Nic Dowd... and for Brooks Orpik.

Kuznetsov is one of just four forwards to not have a single even-strength goal this year, joining Travis Boyd, Dmitrij Jaskin, and Nathan Walker.
