25:59 - The average ice time for John Carlson so far this season, fourth among all defensemen and on pace to be not only a career high but the highest average TOI for a Caps’ blueliner since Carlson’s rookie season.

Carlson will be facing off against one of the League’s other heavy lifters tonight in Minnesota’s Ryan Suter, who averages just a handful of seconds more than Carlson a night this year (26:05/gm) and who has been among the top minute men in the NHL over the course of his career.
