Prior to last season, it hadn’t happened since a 7-6 loss to the Flyers back in March of 1992.
Amazingly (or perhaps not so much), it’s happened against Pittsburgh more than any other team, with four of the 15 high-scoring losses coming at the hands of the Penguins. Five of the losses overall - and three of the four vs. Pittsburgh, including the last two - have been in overtime.
