A look at a big win for the Caps’ backup

41 - Number of goalies to earn their first NHL win as a Capital, a club that now includes Pheonix Copley after the netminder backstopped his team to a 4-3 shootout victory over the Flames on Saturday. He becomes the first Caps’ goalie to get that first win as a Cap in almost five years, dating back to Philipp Grubauer’s first in a 4-1 win over the Rangers - and the first Caps’ goalie to ever get that first win via a shootout.
