Second period thread.

NHL: Florida Panthers at Washington Capitals Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Does anybody have the statistics on attacks from North American big cats?

That’s what the Panthers have done so far at Capital One Arena. After a Vincent Trocheck shot bounced off Lars Eller’s shin and tumbled gently over the goal line to give the Panthers the early lead, The Lartian responded by finding John Carlson on the doorstep to knot it at 1-1.

But Evgenii Dadonov quickly cashed in a one-timer of his own from Aleksander Barkov, and Colton Sceviour slung home a puck from an uncleared crease, and this one is 3-1 Florida after twenty.

Haha just kidding, because as I was writing this Florida’s Jared McCann scored again, and it’s 4-1 Panthers.

Second period ahead...
