Two concussive impacts with the back of the net in the first period of this one!

First up was Mika Zibanejad of the New York Rangers, who caught a perfect assist from Neal Pionk and double-tapped, cashing in his own rebound off Braden Holtby’s pads to make it 1-0 Rangers just six minutes in.

But with five minutes remaining, Captain America John Carlson let freedom ring from above the right circle, blasting home a cruise missile slapper to knot this one at 1-1 after twenty minutes.
