3 - Number of times in his career in which John Carlson has started the season with at least six points in his first five games, including his two goal, four assist start to the 2018-19 campaign.

Only five other defensemen in franchise history have accomplished this feat, and none of them more than once, with Carlson joining Mike Green (2008-09), Sergei Gonchar (2001-02), Phil Housley (1996-97), Kevin Hatcher (1992-93) and Larry Murphy (1987-88).

Carlson last put up six in five to kick off the 2015-16 season, and first did so back in 2010-11.
