A look at Brett Connolly’s first outing with the Caps

...the number of goals scored by Brett Connolly in 2016-17, topping his previous career high (12) set back in 2014-15 with the Lightning. Connolly struggled at times to crack the Caps’ lineup last season, but when he did, he produced - and at a fairly efficient clip. His career year translated into a new two-year contract with the team over the summer, and with a few more openings available this year Connolly has a chance to make a bigger impact in 2017-18.
