A look at how the Caps’ penalty kill clicked at home

...the number of power-play goals given up by the Capitals at home in 2016-17, tied for the second-fewest in the League. The penalty killers had plenty of time to practice, given the fact that the Caps found themselves shorthanded a whopping 129 times at Verizon Center (sixth-most) - and checked in with the second-best home penalty kill (86.8%, behind only Boston’s 88%).
