A look at some lopsided victories for the Caps

...the number of wins earned by the Capitals last season in which they scored at least three more goals than their opponent. That’s the second-most in the League, behind only the Penguins (24); on the flip side, they were only blown out eight times, tied for the third-fewest.

Of their 55 wins overall, a League-best 35 were by a margin of at least two goals - not surprising considering the Caps also led the NHL in goal differential, outscoring opponents by 84 goals over the course of the season.
