The regular season has come to an end, and it’s official: the Capitals will begin their quest for Lord Stanley’s Cup with a first-round matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The playoffs begin Wednesday, April 12, but we’ll have to wait until the following night before the first-ever postseason meeting between these two teams gets underway at Verizon Center.

All games with the possible exception of Game 6 (if necessary) will be broadcast locally on CSNMA, with national coverage on NBCSN and USA Network (as well as CBC/TVA Sports in Canada).
