A look at two potent offenses preparing to clash tonight

The two are tied for five-on-five goals with 16 apiece, while Toronto has the slight edge in five-on-four goals with seven to the Caps’ six.

Among individuals, Alex Ovechkin (obviously) holds the top spot in the NHL with nine goals through six games, while Toronto’s Auston Matthews (and the Caps’ T.J. Oshie) are tied for fourth with five. 13 different Maple Leafs have scored at least one goal already this season, compared to the seven goal-scorers for the Caps.
