A look at how the Caps have avoided lopsided losses over the past two months

25 - Number of games that had passed in between multiple-goal losses for the Capitals prior to last night’s 3-0 defeat in Ottawa, their first by at least two goals since dropping an identical 3-0 decision to the Islanders back on December 1. Since then, Washington has gone 19-3-4, with one-goal decisions in both regulation losses prior to last night, and, on the season, the Caps have only lost seven games by more than a single goal, fourth-fewest in the League.
