A look at some serious offense from the Caps of late

They’ve had a couple of stretches that have come close since the start of the 2005-06 season, including a run of games between January 5 and February 11, 2010, when they had at least four goals in all but two out of 20 (and seven straight).

Washington has scored four or more goals in eight straight games, doing so within the same season for the first time in more than a quarter of a century, this according to Elias Sports Bureau. The Caps tallied four or more goals in 11 straight contests from Oct. 27-Nov. 22, 1991.
