Washington Capitals Draft Damien Riat

The Caps have selected the Swiss forward with the 117th pick of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

With the 117th pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, the Caps have selected left wing Damien Riat.

Here's Swiss Hockey News on the newest Caps' prospect:

Last summer, Riat returned to Geneva, his youth team, after having played abroad for three consecutive seasons. In his first NLA season, Riat played 49 games for the Garnet [Geneve-Servete HC] and managed to score ten goals and 14 assists for a total of 24 points.
