- Caps free agent signee Tim McGauley was named Third Star of the Game on Tuesday as the Brandon Wheat Kings defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 10-3 to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals of the WHL playoffs. He is 0-5-5, +2 in five playoff games. They will face the Moose Jaw Warriors.
- Caps draftees Connor Hobbs and Colby Williams are moving on with the Regina Pats after defeating the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The Pats will face the Red Deer Rebels to take the other Eastern Conference finals slot.
