Capitals vs. Islanders Second Period Thread

The Greatest Player of Our Generation Alex Ovechkin gave the Capitals a first-period lead and extended the goal-scoring gap between him and Human Silent Fart Patrick Kane, scoring his 46th of the year.

Then, after the Islanders got just a hair rough with Mike Richards, Michael Latta jumped in to throw hands and negate what would have otherwise been a lovely powerplay with an Instigating minor.
