Philadelphia came into Game 4 like a shot out of a cannon, dominating possession for the first 10 good minutes. It would be enough to break through the dam, as birthday boy Shayne Gostisbehere gave the Flyers their first power play goal of the series.
Barry Trotz challenged for goaltender interference, citing Wayne Simmonds bumping Braden Holtby's head. The call would stand, the goal would remain, and the Capitals would lose their timeout.

Also, prayers and good thoughts up for Scott Laughton, who took an absolutely terrifying tumble into the back boards and would be removed from the ice on a stretcher. Get well soon, Scott.
1-0 Flyers after the first.
