11 - Number of wins earned by the Caps in the first half of back-to-back games this season, with an overall record of 11-2-0 in those games. Seven of those 13 games (and six of the wins) have been on the road, but tonight marks just the third and final time that both games of a back-to-back set are away from DC - the Caps were victorious in all four of those games (in Vancouver and Edmonton back in October, in NYC and Carolina in December).

Their overall performance in back-to-back games has been one of the team's strengths this season; per Caps Today, they are 20-5-1 in such sets, outscoring opponents 82-57.

After this weekend, the Caps have one back-to-back set remaining on the schedule - a visit to St. Louis followed by a make-up game against Anaheim on the last day of the regular season.
