7 – The most points the Caps have earned on a four-game road trip in the Alex Ovechkin era, going 3-0-1 back in March of 2010. They have a chance to tie that mark with a win over the Sharks tomorrow night after picking up an overtime win in Boston, a shootout win in Anaheim and a point in the overtime loss in LA on Wednesday.
Of course, to do so they’ll have to battle a little bit of history, as they’re 2-11-1 in San Jose since the 1995-96 season. The good news? Both wins were in their last two visits to the Tank, downing the Sharks last February in overtime and taking a shootout win the previous March.
