The Caps have scored no more than two goals just 19 times in 48 games; they are 8-9-2 in those 19 games for a League-leading points percentage of 47.4%. All nine of their regulation losses this season (and 11 of their 13 losses overall) have occurred when the team has scored fewer than three goals.
