Capitals Announce Rescheduled Games

Per the team:

ARLINGTON, VA. – The postponed game between the Washington Capitals and Anaheim Ducks, originally scheduled to be played on Friday, Jan. 22, has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Verizon Center. Additionally, the postponed game between the Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins, originally scheduled to be played on Sunday, Jan. 24, has been moved to Tuesday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Verizon Center, the National Hockey League announced today.

Tickets for the originally scheduled games will be honored for the rescheduled dates. All guests must retain their original tickets in order to attend the games’ new date and time. Additional information will be communicated directly to ticket holders via e-mail.

Each of these games creates a back-to-back situation, as the Capitals will host the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 2, and will be returning home to face the Ducks in the season’s final game after playing in St. Louis the night before.

The game on March 1st means the Caps will be playing five games in a span of seven nights (Feb 28-March 5), and the game on April 10 means the caps will be playing six games in ten nights (April 1 – Apri 10).

Here’s to hoping the Caps are already getting some rest by the time that last stretch rolls around.
