3.09 - Shots on goal per game for John Carlson, second-highest rate in the NHL for a player without a goal this season behind only Boston's Torey Krug (3.18). Carlson's 34 shots on goal is the fourth-most in the League for goal-less skaters, trailing Dustin Byfuglien and Keith Yandle (37) and Krug (35).

Carlson's rate is currently a career high, up more than a half a shot per game from his 2.54 in 2013-14 and way up from last season's 2.21.

In other words... the goals will come.
