Japers' Rink Radio Episode 26: Rangers Preview

New, comments

Stephen Pepper and Adam Stringham were joined by Hockey Graphs' Nick Mercadante to preview the upcoming season for the New York Rangers.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

For years it's seemed like the Washington Capitals' road to the the Stanley Cup Final, and the Conference Final for that matter, went through New York. That's likely no longer the case. The New York Rangers have relied heavily on Henrik Lundqvist to keep them afloat over the last few seasons and it's only a matter of time before age inevitably catches up to him. Hockey Graphs' writer Nick Mercadante joined Adam Stringham and Stephen Pepper to discuss whether Hank has one more year of magic in front of him, the viability of the Rangers defense and what to expect from Jimmy Vesey.
