1 – Number of games the Caps will be playing in a 13-day span when they (hopefully) take the ice Wednesday night against the Flyers. With both games over the weekend getting postponed, the last time the team played was Tuesday, January 19; their next game after they host the Flyers will be Tuesday, February 2, thanks to the upcoming All-Star break.
Never fear, however – there’s plenty of hockey a-comin’ in the next two months, as the team will play at least 14 times in February and again in March (depending on the make-up schedule). Here’s hoping the extra time off can heal a couple of the team’s bruised and battered.
