The New York Rangers jumped out to an early lead in a game pitting the 1st place Metropolitan Division team against the team 16 points back in 2nd place. Chris Kreider beat Braden Holtby to make it 1-0 NYR.
But then a funny thing called Alex Ovechkin happened. Commanding the arsenal from his circular office like the President, #Obestkin fired home the game tier, 1-1.
