Tonight’s 8-Bit Capitals Lines: Shuffling Up or Standing Pat?

With the season on the line, Barry Trotz isn’t giving anything away ahead of tonight’s pivotal Game 7 battle. That means they could go with the same lines that started Game 6 (and the 12 games that preceded it)… or with the lines that finished Game 6, which saw Joel Ward and Marcus Johansson trade spots. And of course, there’s the remote possibility that Eric Fehr makes a miraculous return to the lineup.

But since the Ward-Johansson switcharoo is what launched the comeback, we’ll go with that one for now, the caveat being that the only certainty in the playoffs is uncertainty.

That leaves Justin Peters backing up Holtby, Michael Latta out as the lone healthy scratch, and Fehr potentially (probably) out with injuries, alongside Dmitry Orlov and John Erskine.

It’s go time.
