Except for the first and last minutes of periods, it was not a bad night for the Washington Capitals. However, allowing first-minute goals in the first and third periods, and a last-minute -- actually a last second -- goal in the first period put them in too deep a hole as the New York Rangers hung on at the end to tie the series at three games apiece.
