Per Alex Prewitt, the Caps will send out an all-rookie fourth line to face the Bruins tonight, with emergency recall Stanislav Galiev set to make his NHL debut. Since Eric Fehr is still ailing a bit, the third line gets a bit of a shuffle but the top six remain mostly in tact from Sunday’s big win in Detroit. With that in mind (and with Braden Holtby starting his franchise-record 24th straight) here’s a look at tonight’s lines and defensive pairings:
Alex Ovechkin – Evgeny Kuznetsov – Joel Ward
Marcus Johansson – Nicklas Backstrom – Troy Brouwer
Curtis Glencross – Brooks Laich – Jason Chimera
Andre Burakovsky – Michael Latta – Stanislav Galiev
That leaves Justin Peters backing up Holtby, Fehr and Tom Wilson out day to day with assorted bumps and bruises, and Dmitry Orlov, Jay Beagle and John Erskine remaining out with injuries.
