No morning skate as the Caps head into the second of back-to-back games, but Andre Burakovsky has returned to the team as an emergency recall, so it sounds like the lineup may not be the same as the one that clawed its way back into - and ultimately lost - last night's game in Ottawa. That said, who comes out (if anyone) will likely not be known until the teams take the ice for warmups, so here's a look at what the lines and defensive pairings have looked like so far - with Braden Holtby probably back between the pipes yet again:
Alex Ovechkin - Evgeny Kuznetsov - Joel Ward
Marcus Johansson - Nicklas Backstrom- Troy Brouwer
Curtis Glencross - Eric Fehr - Jason Chimera
Brooks Laich - Michael Latta - Tom Wilson
Brooks Orpik - John Carlson
Karl Alzner - Matt Niskanen
Tim Gleason - Mike Green
Braden Holtby
That leaves Justin Peters backing up Holtby, Burakovsky either in the lineup or on his way back to Hershey per the rules of the emergency recall, and Dmitry Orlov, Jay Beagle and John Erskine remaining out with injuries.
