Now that home ice has been settled - hey, thanks, Columbus! - and all of the first-round matchups have been determined, the NHL has officially set the dates and times for each of the series. Good news for anyone who doesn't like waiting: the quarterfinal series between the Caps and Islanders will open on the first night of the playoffs, as the puck drops on the opening round on Wednesday, April 15.
